The Cokain Family

Our new High School Civics and Computer teacher this year, Chris Cokain, found out about PCS from the job posting! We’re so happy to have him as part of our Warrior team. We asked him to answer some questions about himself to share with you!

Chris got his Bachelor's degree from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA. Before teaching at PCS, Chris taught at Aldine ISD in Houston, TX. When asked why he wanted to be a teacher Chris said, “Teachers played a fundamental role in shaping who I am, and I wanted to return the favor!”

Chris has a wife, Rachelle, and a son, Wyatt. Chris loves motorcycles, the outdoors, and woodworking. Chris is teaching Civics and Computer this year, and hopes his classroom is a place where everyone feels welcome!

When asked why he chose PCS Chris replied, “I feel a Christian-based education in this day is a necessity and I want to be a part of it.” When asked how his experience at PCS has been different from past schools Chris answered, “It is absolutely incredible. The kids are great!”

When asked what he would tell a family considering sending their children to PCS Chris said, “Hands down send them. When my kid is old enough he's coming here.” Chris adds, “This place is a hidden treasure and I love coming to work everyday!”
