Meet the Czifra Family!

David and Julie Czifra’s family has been a part of the Warrior Family for 6 years! We’re so happy to have them, we wanted to share their story with you! We asked them to answer some questions about their experience at PCS, and this is what Julie had to share about her PCS story.

Why did you choose PCS for your child(ren)?
There were several reasons. We wanted a school that taught our children a worldview that we agree with. We wanted a school where we, as parents, could be involved and participate in the classroom.  We wanted a school that would hold them accountable for their actions, words and schoolwork. We have found that at PCS.

What do you love most about PCS?
The teachers and staff.

What is one word that best describes the school? Why?
Personal.  We know and talk to the teachers, the secretary, the nurse, and anyone else our children interact with.

In what ways have you seen your child grow and develop as a result of their experiences at PCS?
Our oldest was very shy when she started first grade.  She has blossomed into an outgoing 6th grader who enjoys participating in class, speaking in front of an audience, and trying new activities.

How is PCS preparing your child for college and beyond?
The academics are excellent. I appreciate that the school teaches traditional math, handwriting and Steam.  But beyond those, I am thankful PCS starts early encouraging the students to speak in front of an audience; to step outside their comfort zone, using class plays, prayer and the speech meet.

What would you tell another parent to encourage them to consider enrolling their child at PCS?
If you want to be involved in your child's education, this is the school for you.
