Mrs. Richardson
Another familiar new face this year is Mrs. Shanan Richardson who is starting as our front office Receptionist. Shanan has subbed in the office on a regular basis and was also a very reliable substitute for both the elementary and high school teachers the last few years. Shanan, who likes to spend her free time enjoying her family, said that she heard about PCS years ago from a friend. Her two sons, grades 7 and 11, have now been attending PCS for several years. Before working at PCS, Shanan was a licensed cosmetologist. She worked as a hair stylist and a substitute cosmetology teacher until she had her children. She stayed home with her children until starting as a sub at PCS three years ago. We asked Shanan why she chose PCS, she said, “I love the Christian atmosphere and the wonderful people. I also like getting to know the students and their families. I feel that PCS is a mission field and working here is a great way to serve.” When we asked her what she would tell a family thinking about sending their kids to PCS, Shanan added, “I feel as if PCS is an extension of church. The teachers truly do care about my kids and pray for them daily. It has been a joy to see the grow in their spiritual walk!” Welcome to the Warrior staff, Shanan!
