Enrolling at PCS – Online Application

Applying is easy using our Online Application.  We require families to apply online as it simplifies submission and provides future access to the student's account.  A non-refundable fee of $25 must be submitted with each application. 

What to Expect?

The application and enrollment process can take up to 6 weeks.  It consists of the following steps:

  • Complete and submit application
  • Completion and collection of application and all supplemental forms
  • Testing (if applicable)
  • Interview
  • Decision/enrollment packet
  • Enrollment packet and tuition plan submitted
Creating an Online Application

To begin the online application process, you will first create an account. You will be required to verify your email address. Log in to your account and create a new student application for your child.  You will then have the flexibility to log in and out of your account and access your open application. There you will be able to print the completed application and monitor the supplemental application forms.  

Once your completed application and all necessary supplemental forms are received, you will be contacted to set up a testing date (if necessary) and an interview.  

Placement Testing

We conduct placement testing for all prospective students K-12. Testing will be conducted at the school and typically takes between 30-90 minutes depending on the grade and ability of the student.   

Family Interview Process

Once an applicant has completed the application and testing stages of the admission process, an interview with the administration, board representation, and both parents (if applicable).  Students in grades 7-12 are required to attend the family interview.  The interview allows us to discover if Portersville Christian School is the right fit for you and your family.    Each family and child is unique so it is important to evaluate and discover if PCS will be the right place for your child and if what you want for your children matches who we are, what we do, and why that is so important.  Interviews will take place at the school and will take up to one hour.  

Enroll

Within a few weeks after making our decision, you will receive written notification of our decision.   If you are accepted you will receive an email link directing you to the next step, online enrollment.   If you decide to enroll, you must complete the online enrollment packet and submit it along with your $100 non-refundable enrollment fee.  Once we receive this completed packet, your student will officially be enrolled in PCS.

Financial Aid

Financial Aid – Tuition assistance is awarded each year to families who demonstrate verified financial need.   Click here to apply for financial aid through FACTS, our third party tuition management company.
