Be a Warrior Supporter

Portersville Christian School has always relied on the generous support of its community members to provide an authentic Christian education for its students. The dedication of our parents, alumni, friends, faculty, and staff is evident in everything we do and visible everywhere on campus. Volunteering is a wonderful way to be involved with our school community, meet other families, shape the lives of students, and support the overall mission of PCS.  The time spent by our volunteers allows us to continue our programs and further develop our partnership between families and churches.

At PCS, we aim to provide an education that is academically excellent as well as rich with opportunity.  Our students have the ability to participate in a thriving athletic program, a top-notch fine arts program, college prep academics, student government, leadership development, as well as many other opportunities. While we do not require mandatory volunteer hours for families, we need your help to keep all of our programs running smoothly.  We believe that when families are involved with the school, there is a shared purpose and camaraderie that benefits the school as a whole and its students. Here are some ways that you can get plugged in to help:

  • Concessions at athletic and fine arts events
  • Prepare and serve our hot lunch program
  • Serve on our Parent Teacher Council
  • Accompany a class on a field trip*
  • Assist with our annual Day of Serving (fall) and Work Days (spring)*
  • Help with our Fun Run elementary fundraiser (February)*
  • Occasional office help (varies)
