Admissions

Should you desire more information than is available on our website, please complete an inquiry form and our Admissions Office will contact you.  You can take a tour, schedule a shadow day, get specific questions answered, or schedule an appointment with someone at the school.  

Applying is easy using our Online Application.  We require families to apply online as it simplifies submission and provides parents a tool for tacking online the status of their admission after their application has been submitted.  A non-refundable fee of $75 must be submitted with each application. 

To begin the Online Application rocess, Create an Account.  You will be required to verify your email address.  Log in to your account and create a new student application for your child.  You will then have the flexibilty to log in and out of your account and access your open application.  After submitting the application, you will be able to track online your admissions status at the school by loggin in to your account.  There you will be able to print the completed application and montior the supplemetnal application forms.  

Once your completed application and all necessary supplemental forms including a birth certificate, immunization record, pastor reference, and teacher reference are recieved, you will be contacted to set up a testing date (if necessary) and an interview.  

Once your completed application and all necessary supplemental forms including a birth certificate, immunization record, pastor reference, and teacher reference are received, you will be contacted to set up a testing date (if necessary) and an interview.  All prospective students in grades K-8 are tested academically.  Testing will be conducted at the school and typically takes between 30-90 minutes depending on the grade and ability of the student.   Additional testing may be required including testing for students in upper grades depending on previous records and information provided to the school.  

Once an applicant has completed the application and testing stages of the admission process, an interview with the administration, board representation, and both parents (if applicable).  Students in grades 7-12 are required to attend the family interview.  The interview allows us to discover if Portersville Christian School is the right fit for you and your family.    Each family and child is unique so it is important to evaluate and discover if PCS will be the right place for your child and if what you want for your children matches who we are, what we do, and why that is so important.  Interviews will take place at the school and will take up to one hour.  

Within a few weeks after making our decision, you will receive written notification of our decision.   If you are accepted you will receive an email link directing you to the next step, online enrollment.   If you decide to enroll, you must complete the online enrollment packet and submit it along with your $100 non-refundable enrollment fee.  Once we receive this completed packet, your student will officially be enrolled in PCS.
