Volunteering is a wonderful way to be involved with our school community, meet other families, shape the lives of students, and support the overall mission of PCS. Our students have the ability to participate in a thriving athletic program, theater program, student government, leadership development, and many other activities that are dependent on volunteer support.
Volunteer Forms
Individuals volunteering with Portersville Christian School who need to obtain clearances, please use the following forms:
- Federal Criminal History Fingerprint Background Check School Code 1KG6TR
- Pennsylvania Criminal Record Check-Act 34
- Pennsylvania Child Abuse History-Act 151
Clearances must be renewed every 5 years.
Family Service Hours – 2026–2027 School Year
Beginning in the 2026–2027 school year, all school families will be required to complete 10 service hours per year as part of our commitment to building a strong, supportive school community. Service hours may be completed beginning July 1, 2026 to June 10, 2027.
Athletics and Theatre Requirements
Service hours related to Athletics and Theatre will be credited only after the family has fulfilled 100% of their Athletics and/or Theatre volunteer requirements.
PCS Faculty and Staff
The 10-hour family service requirement also applies to PCS faculty and staff who have children enrolled at PCS, as they are considered PCS families.
Service Hour Buyout Option
Families may choose to buy out uncompleted service hours at a rate of $50 per hour.
Eligible Volunteers
Service hours may be completed by parents and grandparents. Other adults may be eligible to fulfill service hours with prior approval.
Submitting Service Hours
All completed service hours must be submitted through the designated Google Form/Google Document.
