At PCS, we truly believe that music is a worthwhile endeavor. Participation in music expression and instruction allows us to worship God and reflect on His wonderful gifts. Students at PCS have many opportunities to express themselves through music. In addition to Music class for K-8, elementary students also put on a choral concert each winter and spring. The Junior High and High School choral groups meet twice a week to prepare for their fall and spring concerts as well.

As an individual, music instruction can provide a creative outlet and teach students about the world around them. Instrumentally, students can take music lessons from one of our private teachers (strings, percussion, guitar) during the day. There are orchestra and a mallet ensembles who regularly practice and participate in the music concerts as well.

Through our Fine Arts program, students can experience what it's like to be part of a live show by being a part of our fall and spring musicals. It is a highlight of our school year and creates lasting memories and friendship focused around the arts. Finally, students in the middle and high school grades are able to be a member of the worship team that prepares and performs during our weekly chapel service.
