Susan Walker

Current Position: Currently teach 6-12 art,7/8th skills for living. Gettysburg monument history, design with 6 grade.  Helped get Archery going. Archery coach since inception( 7 years ago) Bus driver- 6th  year this coming school year.

Past Positions: Started when my oldest asked if I could do art club type stuff when he was in 6th ( 2011)I volunteered and began with that. Was an active homeroom mom prior. Occasionally subbed.

Hobbies or Secondary Positions: Artist: teach at my locations and others location. Promoting and supporting the arts in community. I participate in several juried art shows. My artwork is currently sold in Pittsburgh Center for the Arts, Stray Cat Studio, Beaver Falls, Owlet gift shop Moraine State Park. I have an online shop and workshops on my website . I love Social Media marketing, stats etc. to promote my business and support other small businesses and organizations. I am a Board member of Moraine Preservation Fund,  a non-profit that works alongside 3 local parks to support them financially and through doing projects in the parks. I am currently working on their new Facebook page for the Owlet and will be creating a media plan and postings. I'm addicted to sunsets and take numerous pictures.

Something to share with parents considering Christian Education:  The Love of the Lord is taught but more importantly you see it in the everyday lives of staff, students and students after they leave PCS.
