Katie has been at PCS for almost three years. A favorite memory of Katie's is going to a JV volleyball tournament and cheering the JV girls on with Allyssa and Brandi and then running to Sheetz during a break. Katie said that she will miss the community at PCS. She added,  "I love the friendly community and how the relationships here are so tight knit and close.” We asked Katie what the most valuable thing she learned at PCS, she said "I think one of the most important things I have learned at PCS isn't one thing specifically but rather the topic of worldviews as a whole that we learned about in Mr. Wise's class in 11th grade. I think it was so important to me because while I was learning about religions and beliefs that were not Christian, I didn't realize that my Christian faith was solidifying because I had finally been introduced to the "other options" and realized that the most consistent belief that aligned with my worldview was Christianity. I also think it is just important for every Christian to be educated on what they are up against in this world and also how they can find ways to relate to people outside the faith so that they would be able to see Christ as well." Well said, Katie! A meaningful scripture to Katie is Isaiah 41:10 “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” After graduation, Katie will be attending The Laurel Institute for their culinary program.
