Mark is the Valedictorian and Vice-President of the Class of 2022 and was also a “founding member” of the class, having started in kindergarten. He recounts that his trip to Washington, DC for the ACSI Leadership Student Conference was one of his favorite memories as it allowed him to tour his favorite city.  When asked about what he might miss about PCS, Mark said he will miss the “pilgrim wraps” at lunch, playing dodgeball with his friends, Philosophy class with Mr. Wise, and discussing current events with Dr. Cost and Mr. Pavelek. Mark cites one of the most valuable things he has learned during his time here is to be open minded when considering other people and their beliefs. He also has learned to love some classes and teachers that he wasn't sure he would. A meaningful scripture verse to Mark is Proverbs 22:29 “Do you see someone skilled in their work? They will serve before kings; they will not serve before officials of low rank.” In the fall Mark will be attending the University of Virginia to study Economics and Data Science. He plans to attend grad school after his bachelor's studies. We wish you the best, Mark!
