Matthys
Like several others in his graduating class, Matthys has been at PCS for 13 years! He says that his fondest memories are with Mr. T and soccer and also playing soccer with his friends. Matthys said that he will miss his teachers after he graduates. He added that striving to live like Christ, having a sacrificial love, is something valuable that he has learned at PCS. A meaningful scripture to Matthys is 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 “Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast, it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful, it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease, as for knowledge, it will pass away.” After graduation, Matthys will be attending Geneva College to major in Mechanical Engineering.
