Well Done, Sam!

This Senior Spotlight falls on Sam! A graduating member of our class of 2026, he has been at PCS for 5 years. Some of his fondest memories at PCS include “Editing a school newspaper with Alex, Jacob, and Daniel from 8th to 10th grade. Running for the cross country team from 10th to 12th grade. Being involved in the Musical from 10th to 12th grade." What he will miss most from PCS is all the friends that he has made, both fellow seniors and underclassmen. He will miss all the different extracurricular activities that he's been involved in, especially the Musical; and he will miss all the teachers who have been influential in his life — He adds, “Thank you!”
What he values most from his Christian education is the community of like-minded believers, with whom he's enjoyed such strong fellowship over the last few years. He adds, “PCS is full of great people and I will miss all of them!” The most valuable thing he's learned at PCS is that it's important to engage well and go all-in when you find yourself in a new environment. He adds, “I came to PCS in eighth grade and was hesitant to become involved in new activities, but looking back at my time in high school, I am so grateful that I chose to try some new things. This will definitely serve me well going into the rest of my life. Strictly academically speaking, there have been countless times when I have used the conditional formatting feature on Google Sheets, and I have Miss Hallberg and her 9th-grade computer class to thank for that!”
His words of advice or wisdom to underclassmen are to “Make the most of your time at PCS — your high school experience goes by more quickly than it may seem at the moment, so don't waste it. Be intentional in your relationships — make new friends, ask good questions, love one another well.” The scripture verse that was most meaningful to him this year was Psalm 27:1 NIV — "The Lord is my light and my salvation — who shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life — of whom shall I be afraid?"
Sam will be missed by our entire Warrior community! After graduation, he plans to attend Grove City College for Business Analytics! May God bless you in the next chapter of life, Sam. Well Done, Warrior!
