This Senior Spotlight falls on Alex! A graduating member of our class of 2026, he has been at PCS for 5 years. Some of his fondest memories at PCS were: “Soccer, my friends, and volleyball have all been very meaningful.” What he will miss most about PCS is “I will miss the sense of community and being surrounded by like-minded people.”
What he values most about his Christian education is, “I value the opportunity to play sports, be around a really solid community, and have smaller classes.” The scripture verse that was most meaningful to him this year was Galatians 4:4-7.

This Senior Spotlight falls on Felicity! A graduating member of our class of 2026, she has been at PCS for 9 years. Some of her fondest memories at PCS were “meeting friends.” What she will miss most about PCS is “Mrs. Kristin Charles.”
What she values most from her Christian education is, "I got to grow in my walk with Christ while doing it with my friends.” The most valuable thing she says she learned at PCS is, “How to evangelize, and how to calculate further expenses like a car or house from consumer math.”
Her words of advice or wisdom to her underclassmen at PCS are, “Be nice, you never know what somebody is going through.” The scripture verse that was most meaningful to her this year was 1 Peter 5:7.

This Senior Spotlight falls on Noah! A graduating member of our class of 2026, he has been at PCS for 11 years. Some of his fondest memories at PCS were: “Going on field trips to the Pittsburgh Zoo and Carnegie Science Center.” What he will miss most about PCS is “hanging out with some friends and buying ice cream every other lunch day.”
What he values most about his Christian education is, “Being able to have good conversations with some faculty members.” The most valuable thing he's learned at PCS is, "Learning what it means to have a proper Christian worldview."
His words of advice or wisdom to underclassmen are, “When in doubt, the answer is always C.” The scripture verse that was most meaningful to him this year was 1 Thessalonians 5:18.

This Senior Spotlight falls on Jacob! A graduating member of our class of 2026, he has been at PCS for 14 years, since preschool. Some of his fondest memories at PCS were: “Most of all, I enjoyed the time spent with friends and people I love. Whether it's during things like soccer, the spring musical, or simply in the day-to-day.” What he will miss most about PCS is “the community and the people, some of whom I have been surrounded by for most of my life.”
What he values most about his Christian education is, “It has provided a space and opportunity for me to grow and mature in my own faith, fellowship with other believers, and focus on that which is good, true, and beautiful.” The most valuable thing he's learned at PCS is, "To love and pursue that which is good, keeping God at the center of everything I think, say, and do."
His words of advice or wisdom to underclassmen are, “Read the Lord of the Rings — it's a life-changing experience.” The scripture verse that was most meaningful to him this year was 1 Corinthians 15: 3-4 / This is the gospel in a nutshell.

This Senior Spotlight falls on Eli! A graduating member of our class of 2026, he has been at PCS for 6 years. Some of his fondest memories at PCS were “playing sports, mainly going to Ohio, and Spanish class.” What he will miss most about PCS is “seeing friends every day.”
What he values most about his Christian education is, “always being reminded about God and His love and mercy for us and this is something I will take into my everyday life.” The most valuable thing he's learned at PCS is, "that it is easy to not like someone, but you need to love everyone for there has never been a need and to enjoy every moment even in the hard times."
His words of advice or wisdom to underclassmen are, “Respect your teachers and your peers and just enjoy the time you have with everyone around you.” The scripture verse that was most meaningful to him this year was “3 Not only so, but we[c] also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; 4 perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5 And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.” Romans 5:3-5.

This Senior Spotlight falls on Westin! A graduating member of our class of 2026, he has been at PCS since 1st grade. Some of his fondest memories at PCS were “soccer games.” What he will miss most about PCS is “The friendships and family-like community. This led to most of my favorite memories happening even outside of school due to meeting awesome people here.”
What he values most about his Christian education is, “The consistent healthy push to grow in your faith.” The most valuable thing he's learned at PCS is, "How to manage life in this world, how to have healthy relationships with everything in this world."
His words of advice or wisdom to underclassmen are, “Stick with Christianity and trust in God.” The scripture verse that was most meaningful to him this year was 2nd Corinthians 4:7-9.

This Senior Spotlight falls on Josiah! A graduating member of our class of 2026, he has been at PCS for 1 year. Some of his fondest memories at PCS include: “Talking about old times with former classmates who I have been reunited with here at PCS and increasing those old relationships from right where we left off. Making the best meals you could possibly eat. Making new friends who have become great brothers in Christ to me.” What he will miss most about PCS is “The people there: both students and teachers who reflected Christ-like character and qualities.”
What he values most about his Christian education is, “I value the great character quality of the people there, in their teaching and interaction being based in and around Christ Jesus. Having that groundwork and being taught by people who have it too is of the utmost value in life.” The most valuable thing he's learned at PCS is, "Christ's character can be reflected greatly by those who care for Him and love His word."
His words of advice or wisdom to underclassmen are, “Worry not about the future, nor be upset about the past, but rather focus on the present and have your every step be guided by the One who grants them to you.” The scripture verse that was most meaningful to him this year was Psalm 16:11 ESV.

Some of her fondest memories at PCS were “volunteering in the elementary classrooms.” What she will miss most about PCS is “The view in the back of the school and seeing everyone every day.”
What she values most from her Christian education is, "It has been valuable to me because it gives me a community of people who share the same beliefs as me, both my teachers and classmates. The teachers at Christian schools also care about helping you to grow spiritually, not just academically.” The most valuable thing she says she learned at PCS is, “I learned a lot more about practical skills such as writing, in my English classes, and cooking in my applied science class.”
Her words of advice or wisdom to her underclassmen at PCS are, “The time passes quickly, work hard and enjoy it!” The scripture verse that was most meaningful to her this year was Proverbs 3:5-6.

This Senior Spotlight falls on Rachelle! A graduating member of our class of 2026, she has been at PCS for 13 years. Some of her fondest memories at PCS were “Soccer seasons and the Ohio tournaments.” What she will miss most about PCS is the view of the lake.
What she values most from her Christian education is "the Christian bubble-like atmosphere.” The most valuable thing she says she learned at PCS is, “how to use my gifts for God's will and trust him.”
Her words of advice or wisdom to her underclassmen at PCS are, “John 15:18 "If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first." The world is going to hate you because you're different, because you live differently. Embrace the hate, because you are living for God, not the world. What the world thinks does not matter, it is what God thinks that does. If you live your life differently, then you will stand out, your faith stands out. Embrace hate and live for the Lord because you belong to the Lord.” The scripture verse that was most meaningful to her this year was Mathew 16:24-25 and Romans 14:8.

This Senior Spotlight falls on Caleb! A graduating member of our class of 2026, he has been at PCS for 4 years. Some of his fondest memories at PCS include: “I've laughed harder here than anywhere else in my life. I've made friends that I'll have for the rest of my life. Specifically, helping Chuck during the day of serving this year was awesome. One of my favorite days out of all 4 years was getting to stay at school on the day of serving to help Chuck with various tasks around the school.” What he will miss most from PCS is, “I'll miss the family-like environment the most. I'll miss getting to see my friends every day and having awesome teachers that care so much about me. The open-in-class discussions about interesting topics, the teachers, all my friends, and the almost family-like environment I feel here.”
What he values most about his Christian education is, “I love being able to openly discuss my faith and having countless peers and teachers that I trust and can talk to about things beyond academics. I value the freedom to talk about my faith. It is amazing to be in an environment where you can be comfortable sharing anything with anyone.” The most valuable thing he's learned at PCS is "to value my relationships, time, and joy more than academic excellence, work, or sports. I learned to value my relationships, friends, and God, over sports, academics, or work."
His words of advice or wisdom to underclassmen are, “Don't take your situation for granted. You are surrounded by people who care so much about you and are always willing to help you. Being a good student is obviously important, but be careful what you sacrifice to achieve that. Don't put aside relationships and your faith to work. Always do things with mindfulness and intention. Put effort into your friendships and your relationship with God.” The scripture verse that was most meaningful to him this year was Revelation 22: 12–13: “Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give it to each person according to what they have done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.

This Senior Spotlight falls on Audrey! A graduating member of our class of 2026, Audrey has been at PCS for 12 years. Some of her fondest memories at PCS were “Spending time growing in sports and building a community. Also, growing up together with my class.” What she will miss most from PCS is all her friends and the teachers.
What she values most from her Christian education is “the community and having people I can grow in my faith with constantly around me.” The most valuable thing she says she learned at PCS is, “Whether it is sports or something else, find a community that will pull you towards God that you can grow in.”
Her words of advice or wisdom to her underclassmen at PCS are, “Build strong friendships that lead you towards God while you are here and appreciate the time you have here because it will fly by.” The scripture verse that was most meaningful to her this year was Romans 8:31 ESV "What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?"

This Senior Spotlight falls on Logan! A graduating member of our class of 2026, he has been at PCS for 14 years. Some of his fondest memories at PCS include “Spending so much time playing sports, building a community around me that has pushed me to grow in my faith and as a student-athlete.” What he will miss most from PCS is how much the staff and faculty care for the students and how one on one the teachers are both in class and out of it.
What he values most from his Christian education is that “it gives you a strong foundation, and a nurturing environment where you can grow in your faith and as a person.” The most valuable thing he's learned at PCS is "how much living out my faith and striving to be Christ-like matters, and how much more joyful it makes you."
His words of advice or wisdom to underclassmen are, “Enjoy the time you have here, you won't realize how much you will miss this environment until you've finished.” The scripture verse that was most meaningful to him this year was “Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men” Colossians 3:23.

What he values most from his Christian education is “being around people who often think like you. Not only this, but learning about what we hold to be true has been an important part of my life.” The most valuable thing he's learned at PCS is, “PCS has helped me form a firm basis of truth that will help me throughout life.” The scripture verse that was most meaningful to him this year was 1 Peter 1:6-7.

This Senior Spotlight falls on Sam! A graduating member of our class of 2026, he has been at PCS for 5 years. Some of his fondest memories at PCS include “Editing a school newspaper with Alex, Jacob, and Daniel from 8th to 10th grade. Running for the cross country team from 10th to 12th grade. Being involved in the Musical from 10th to 12th grade." What he will miss most from PCS is all the friends that he has made, both fellow seniors and underclassmen. He will miss all the different extracurricular activities that he's been involved in, especially the Musical; and he will miss all the teachers who have been influential in his life — He adds, “Thank you!”
What he values most from his Christian education is the community of like-minded believers, with whom he's enjoyed such strong fellowship over the last few years. He adds, “PCS is full of great people and I will miss all of them!” The most valuable thing he's learned at PCS is that it's important to engage well and go all-in when you find yourself in a new environment. He adds, “I came to PCS in eighth grade and was hesitant to become involved in new activities, but looking back at my time in high school, I am so grateful that I chose to try some new things. This will definitely serve me well going into the rest of my life. Strictly academically speaking, there have been countless times when I have used the conditional formatting feature on Google Sheets, and I have Miss Hallberg and her 9th-grade computer class to thank for that!”
His words of advice or wisdom to underclassmen are to “Make the most of your time at PCS — your high school experience goes by more quickly than it may seem at the moment, so don't waste it. Be intentional in your relationships — make new friends, ask good questions, love one another well.” The scripture verse that was most meaningful to him this year was Psalm 27:1 NIV — "The Lord is my light and my salvation — who shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life — of whom shall I be afraid?"
Sam will be missed by our entire Warrior community! After graduation, he plans to attend Grove City College for Business Analytics! May God bless you in the next chapter of life, Sam. Well Done, Warrior!

This Senior Spotlight falls on Rachel! A graduating member of our class of 2026, she has been at PCS for 7 years. Some of her fondest memories at PCS were on “the DR trip because I got to actually see God work in people and hear Him for myself. I grew a lot in my faith during the trip”. What she will miss most from PCS is being able to see her friends every day, the random discussions in biology with Mr. T, and Dr. Cost's classes.
What she values most from her Christian education was being able to learn about her faith in an environment that welcomes questions. Her advice or words of wisdom to her underclassmen are, “Don't let your fear of being judged or made fun of stop you from doing something you really want to do." The scripture verse that was most meaningful to her this year was Ecclesiastes 3:22: “So I saw that there is nothing better for a person than to enjoy their work, because that is their lot. For who can bring them to see what will happen after them?”.

This Senior Spotlight falls on Bethany! A graduating member of our class of 2026, Bethany has been at PCS for 15 years. Some of her fondest memories at PCS were laughing together with her class during study halls. What she will miss most from PCS is waving and saying "hi" to the elementary kids in the hallways.
What she values most from her Christian education was the classes being through a Christian lense. The most valuable thing she says she learned at PCS is “how to defend my faith in God and why it is so important.” Her words of advice or wisdom to her underclassmen at PCS are, “Treat everyone with respect because reputations follow you.”
