Well Done Warrior: Kara

May 12, 2024
By Mary Barnes

Kara is a member of the Class of 2024 who has been at PCS for five years. She has been a member of the volleyball team and has also served as an officer for her class for the past two years. She is currently the class president. Kara said that her favorite memories from her time as a Warrior are: being a part of the volleyball team, the everyday joking around with her classmates, when she and her classmates played hide and seek in 10th grade for missions week, and the senior wilderness trip. Kara said that the thing she will miss the most about PCS is the community that exists within the school, and that what she values about attending a Christian school is “That scripture is integrated into everything that we are learning and the ability to share our faith openly”. Learning how to defend her faith is the most important thing that Kara believes she has learned in her Christian education. A meaningful scripture verse to Kara is 1 Timothy 4:12 Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.

In the fall, Kara is tentatively headed to Geneva College to study Business Management. We wish Kara the best as she says goodbye to PCS. Well done, Warrior!
